Established in 1983, our roots are in steel-framed construction. More than 40 years of building, extending and repairing commercial, industrial and agricultural premises have given us a practical understanding of how these buildings go together and what their owners need from them. Our own construction teams bring that knowledge to the delivery of each project.
With very low staff turnover, our longstanding team has years of experience working together. You deal directly with the people making decisions, with straightforward conversations about costs, progress and the practicalities of the job.
We understand that construction often has to happen around a working business. Access, sequencing and disruption are considered alongside the building itself. We hold CHAS Elite accreditation, with safe working practices built into how we plan, manage and carry out our work.

Lewis Barton - Managing Director
Lewis leads South Lincs Construction, overseeing the business. He works closely with clients and the team to maintain the practical approach, personal service and quality workmanship at the heart of SLC.
Danny Wild - Operations Director
Danny oversees project delivery, coordinating our teams, subcontractors and resources. He keeps work moving from planning through to completion, with a focus on safety, quality and clear communication.
Connor Hare - Senior Quantity Surveyor
Connor manages the commercial details of our projects, from costing and procurement through to valuations and final accounts. He works with clients, suppliers and our delivery team to track costs and manage changes as work progresses.
Lyn Atkin - Finance Manager
Lyn manages the company’s finances, overseeing payments, reporting and day-to-day financial administration. She works closely with the wider team to support well-organised projects and a financially sound business.
Claire Hodge - Office Manager
Claire keeps our office running smoothly, coordinating everyday activities and supporting colleagues across the business. She helps ensure enquiries reach the right people and that our office and project teams stay connected.
Charlene Barton - Administration Manager
Charlene provides administrative support across the business, helping with enquiries, documentation and record keeping. Her work helps keep information organised and supports the day-to-day needs of our team and clients.
Jack Bagley - H&S Coordinator
Jack supports health and safety across our projects, coordinating records, training information and compliance administration. He works alongside our operations team and specialist advisers to help maintain safe, well-organised working environments.
Jack Fitzjohn - Estimator
Jack prepares estimates for projects across our construction services, reviewing drawings, specifications and client requirements. He brings together costs and practical considerations to help clients understand the scope of their proposed works.
James Agate - Head of Growth
James focuses on developing new opportunities and building relationships with clients, architects and consultants. He leads our marketing and business development, helping more businesses discover SLC and the full range of services we offer.
