Factory Redevelopment
South Lincs Construction delivered a major design and build project for Copernus in Hull, the UK subsidiary of Suempol – Europe’s largest salmon processor. Appointed as main contractor, we constructed a new production facility while maintaining 100% operational continuity for the client’s existing processing plant. The project highlights our capability to manage complex industrial builds in sensitive, high-hygiene settings where reliability, coordination, and programme certainty are critical.
Business Park Construction
South Lincs Construction has worked closely with a local commercial developer on the new construction of 38 light industrial units forming the Oakwood Business Park in Sawtry, Cambridgeshire.
As main contractor, SLC managed construction from the initial groundworks through to the final fit-out, coordinating trades and overseeing delivery of all units.
Cold Store Extension
South Lincs Construction delivered a factory extension for Ripe Now, one of Lincolnshire’s leading fresh produce specialists. The project involved the construction of a new cold store facility. Our team managed the full design and build process, including all groundworks and a reinforced raft foundation system. The scheme demonstrates our experience working within food-safe environments, where strict hygiene standards and minimal disruption to ongoing operations are critical to project success.
Insurance Remediation
South Lincs Construction undertook fire reinstatement works at Enva’s Immingham facility, replacing damaged structural steelwork, roofing and wall cladding. Using temporary supports, we planned the structural repairs one bay at a time. The project also encompassed the refurbishment of offices, welfare facilities and workshop space, including internal fitout, electrical installations, plumbing and ventilation.
Oversheet
South Lincs Construction carried out a complete roof and wall recladding project for One Big Star at Brunel Park, Newark. Covering a building footprint of 2,160 square metres, the works included replacing the existing sheets with coated steel cladding, upgrading roof insulation and installing new flashings and weatherproof details. The refurbishment refreshed the building’s appearance and improved its protection from the elements, extending the life of the existing premises.
Concrete Yard
We delivered a substantial new concrete yard, creating a durable, level external surface suitable for regular commercial vehicle movements, loading and day-to-day operations. The completed yard provides improved access to the surrounding warehouse buildings while offering a clean, hard-wearing and low-maintenance working area.
Internal Fit-Out
South Lincs Construction recently completed an internal café refurbishment for Anglian Water at their Grafham Water Visitor Centre. This scheme demonstrates that we also offer the complete package, including high-quality internal works, fit-outs, and refurbishments. Our team delivered the project with minimal disruption, careful sequencing, and a strong focus on finish quality—showcasing the versatility and breadth of our in-house capabilities.
Business Park Construction
Stonebridge Business Park, Kirton, Lincolnshire, is a high-quality multi-let development designed to meet growing demand for modern trade space in the area. Phase 1 comprises 10 high-spec units ranging from 120–200 sqm, suitable for a variety of occupiers. Positioned in a well-connected and expanding location, the scheme forms the first stage of a planned four-phase build-out, creating a scalable commercial hub that will support local business growth for years to come.

Roof Replacement
South Lincs Construction carried out a full roof replacement for agricultural machinery distributor Opico in Bourne, Lincolnshire. The project resolved persistent leaks while significantly improving the building’s appearance, ensuring a durable, watertight, and professional finish to support their operations.
Potato Store Construction
We delivered a purpose-built steel-framed potato store for M & I Hladun & Son in Boston, Lincolnshire. Featuring modern insulation and ventilation systems, the facility ensures optimal crop storage conditions while providing a durable, energy-efficient structure designed to support long-term operational needs.
Aircraft Hangar
We delivered a new aircraft hangar and museum building for We’ll Meet Again in Boston, Lincolnshire, providing a permanent home for their Hurricane. The project had stalled after the initial design, developed with a regional main contractor, proved unviable on cost. By rigorously value-engineering the scheme without compromising function, we enabled the project to proceed.
